My day begins very early, around 3am when I start to prepare the Northern Michigan News. Some mornings I will get a line on someone trying to out-run the Michigan State Police in the high speed chase, by the way, that never works.
There might be a story about a person trying to hold up the bank where his sister-in-law is a tell, guess what? It was very easy for the teller to give his description to the police.
How about the two guys growing pot indoors down in Rogers City? They were arrested because their electric bill from the grow lights was around 3 thousand bucks.
So the next time you are listening to Bob and Tom in the morning on Classic Rock the Bear, picture Big Michael the Newsman, on the computer and on the phone getting the news stories.
